An amazing friend

Last Sunday, I pulled out the outfit that Charlie wore for his blessing two years ago. I started panicking when I realized that it wasn't going to fit Pete (being that he is about 3 lbs. bigger) this Sunday for his blessing. Long story short, an amazing friend of mine offered to make one for Pete. I will withhold her name to prevent the mob that would stampede themselves into her front door in want of their own baby blessing outfit! Two days after I dropped off the fabric, this showed up at my door, surged edges and everything:

This was a bonus!!! So cute. AND she is making the jacket too!!

JoAnn, you are amazing, how many times have I said that? (oops, wasn't supposed to say your name.)

Now here is the challenge for all of you: What in the world can I do to thank this wonderful woman???

Wow! What an awesome friend! You ask what to do for her. If she is someone that would do that in the first place, she probably doesn't want anything. She probably got a thrill out of just being able to do it for you. So cute!!

That is too cute! I love the little details! That kind of sewing takes some serious talent!

That Joann is just plain talented. I didn't know she could sew this well but knew about other things she does. I believe she truly loves others and loves to serve her fellow man.

JoAnn is probably sooooooooo far beyond needing any praise or glory for anything she does. Her example goes way beyond any need for compensation. I hope everyone who reads this goes out and does a "JoAnn" deed. Pay it forward!

Maybe she needs some homemade bread the she didn't make herself... Just a suggestion of course.

I call those kind of friends...angels. Heavenly Father sends them to us to let us know how much He loves us.

The wonderful lady that made Ella's blessing dress wanted to consecrate her time and asked me to donate to the humanitarian aid fund.
