D.C. with G & G

Grandma May and Grandpa Ned came to visit for Pete's blessing. And we saw D.C. the only way to see D.C.---on bikes!! Charlie and Pete were towed behind in a trailer.

Don't we look great!

Pete does look a little lost in there but he spent the day sleeping.

And what is a visit to D.C. without a couple pit stops to breastfeed on the benches under the blooming cherry blossoms and...

...outside the Old Post Office.

Even Charlie got his thrill.

It was a great day to the capitol of our country.

AL and Jake (Lynette),
Actually, I don't think I thought it through very well, riding a bike all day, 5 weeks after childbirth. In hindsight, not the best idea. Especially when I've been having tailbone issues... I even came down with some sort of bug that day and was flu-achy all over, thought I had mastitis but it was something else. But it still was fun, I'd do it again!

I love the helmets! I pushed a stroller all over DC a few summers ago. While on my adventure I was being passed left and right by tourists on bikes. It's a great idea! Next time I want to ride a bike. Looks like you guys had a wonderful time. What is the name of the that sleeping book you were telling me about? Thanks for your good advice. Naps are getting a little better.

Shell-
You look great! Did you color your hair? I like it. Your boys are adorable and it looks like you are just loving every minute of them! Take care.
