To celebrate, some friends came over for cake on Friday, the 25th:
Charlie loves having the boys around. It gives him a chance to be loud!
This is Charlie's little friend from church. She is the sweetest little thing and tolerates most of what he dishes out. Sometimes he can't keep his hands off her. 
"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you..."
At first, the full sized piece of cake was a little intimidating...
But soon he dove right in and loved it!

Saturday, January 26th (actual birthday)
This is a funny new face he does. Wrestling on the bed with Dad is one of our favorite past times. 
New airplane! Thank you Jim and Virginia!
A fun ball popper toy! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Hadd!
It was a great first birthday. Thanks for all the fun gifts Grandma Hadd and for the sweater, Aunt Diane.
