Adding another Adventure Myers...

I suppose it is time to post it on our blog. We've told pretty much most everyone. But I guess there might be a few lurkers who haven't caught wind yet.

Charlie is going to be a big brother now.

We are having another baby in February!

I've been pretty sick but feeling better lately. I'm already starting to "pop" out. People at church are telling me my "baby is getting bigger", not referring to Charlie. He's not the baby anymore. I'm hoping for a girl, Dave is indifferent, but we'll be happy with whomever comes to our home.

Pics from our trip west--finally!

Charlie and I (Shelly) took a trip to visit my mother in Idaho for a couple weeks. We had a great time. Charlie did have a bit of a time getting adjusted but eventually he found his groove. My mom and I sewed. We unearthed a quiet book that she had started 25 years ago. It just needed a few finishing touches but we finished it. Grandma Hadd's library was a "wow" experience for Charlie every time he went up there. For those of you who have not been there to see it, you must. Grandpa Hadd made us lots of yummy things to eat. He even put up a swing. Please forgive the lack of pictures of Grandma and Grandpa. I wasn't on my game very well this time.

Not quite sure how to handle this big kid swing...

He did think it was pretty cool, though.

There were lots of fun things to put our feet in. Even Grandpa's cowboy boots! I didn't get a picture, but it was funny just to watch Charlie try to put them on when they came up past his hips!

Uncle Tom (soon to be wed...) came to visit. These guys got along great! Tom is so entertaining.

The last weekend we were with my mom, Dave's parents drove down from Montana, picked us up and we headed south to the family cabin in Mt. Aire in Salt Lake. Dave orchestrated a rendezvous for two days in between a hiking/business trip in California and met us in Salt Lake at the cabin. It was nice to see all of Dave's family as well. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Myers!

I thought this was a great capture of the 5 second tantrum...not wanting to go to bed.

The endless supply of rocks, sticks and bugs...a boy's playground at Mt. Aire.

Leaving so soon?
